Please be careful when coming and leaving the studio. We have a much needed police presence on the corner, due to traffic accidents, giving tickets for jaywalking and pedestrians walking across street on the flashing red hand.

The law is if you enter the crosswalk when it is green person and the hand starts to flash while walking across you are fine but if you are on the corner and the red hand has already begun to flash and the countdown has started it is not legal to enter the crosswalk and you will get a ticket. It is to protect your own life so please be nice to the police officer as he is only doing his job. ;)

Stay present. Keep your eyes up and your cell phone put away. Walk mindfully and be aware of your surroundings. Notice your breath. If you miss the light and have to wait it is simply an opportunity to be in the moment and be with your breath.
