Hi loves,
I thought I would bring back a few of everyone’s favorites for March’s intention. I am drawn towards three integral aspects of our wellness so why not play with them all this month. I’m calling this the M³ Promise. I like saying it as M to the third power instead of M cubed because this is a powerful practice, and I like the word power in there; surprise, surprise, I know. :)

Minimize-1
Move-30
Meditate-20
Here is how it works. Everyday we align with minimizing our lives, moving our beautiful bodies, and meditating. Couldn’t be simpler, right? We sprinkle these through our days any way we wish. Below I will share my thoughts on how I will be playing along with you. Please share your journey and ask me any questions you have along the way.
Minimize
Get rid of one thing per day for the entire month of March. This is a very simple version of the Minimizing Game we played a while back where we end up getting rid of approximately 465 items by the end of the month. I am keeping this round a bit lighter. We only have to lighten our life by eliminating one thing per day. We can gift it, sell it, toss it; anything we want but one item a day has to leave our house.
Move
Well, this one is kinda obvious coming from me, right? Yes, class will count but its the days when we don’t do class together. What do those days look like for us? Every day we move our body for 30 minutes. This can be absolutely anything we want it to be. My thoughts below on how to play with these 30 minutes daily.
Meditate
Let’s get real here. We all can benefit from meditation and we all know it. We don’t need to have a problem for meditation to help us in our lives; it just makes things better, us healthier, calmer, and softens the edges of life a bit—or a lot at times. We collectively will commit to a daily mediation of 20 minutes. Yup, 20 minutes my loves. Game on!
Here are some of my thoughts on how I might play with these intentions this month. I might go around my house and gather 31 items so I have everything ready to gift each day. I am part of a community gifting group so this is super simple for me to pass on to others. (Look up Buy Nothing and then the city you live in, and you will find your community’s gifting group. It is also a receiving group as you can ask for anything you wish for as well. ) Or, I might make it a daily practice of finding one item to gift. Mix it up and have fun with it.
As far as moving my body for 30 minutes I might do the same activity for 30 minutes every day for a full week and then the next week do a different activity for 30 minutes every day, or alternating, or every day of the month I might play with a new activity. I might even add an extra eliminate of fun to it and come up with 31 creative and diverse ways to move my body. I might do 15 minutes of planking and wall sits and 15 minutes of trampoline one day, the next day go hiking for 30 minutes, and the next 30 minutes of Tai chi. Who knows! The options are endless.
Mediation is going to simply be a 20 minute sit at the same time every day for me. I find it helps to have a designated time to meditate; evening works best for me. My husband and I have been doing an 8 o’clock mediation together and it has been lovely. It is also absolutely fine to change it up and do it at all different times. All that matters is that we actually sit for 20 minutes.
Those are some of my thoughts on these topics. Have fun with it, make it your own, and know that you are in good company.
Here’s to Minimizing, Movement, and Mediating!
