Hello dear friends, As many of you know I have recently fallen in love with mindful calligraphy; faux calligraphy to be precise. I discovered this new love within the mindfulness exercises in a concussion healing program I am part of as I continue to heal from the car accidents. I have heard from many of you inquiring about how I learned this so I thought we should create a class that we can be part of together. My teacher, who is in Canada, and I are creating a course for us all to play with. My favorite aspect of this art form of writing is the breath work; it is all connected. I very much look forward to sharing space with you as we all learn new ways to bring in mindful practices in our daily lives. This email is to inquire if you are interested in joining me. We will offer it once or twice a month for approximately an hour. We will be mindful of time offerings with everyone in different time zones. These classes will also be recorded so if you happen to miss one you will be able to watch it at a later date. We will continue to offer the class until she has concluded teaching us all the minuscules and majuscules along with some connections, compositions and perhaps some mandala creations as well. We would like to keep the class small enough where everyone gets personal attention. Please let me know if this interests you and I will add you to the list. We will probably start within the next month. If you are interested will you also let me know if you prefer a weekday evening or a weekend class, and what time is best for you.
